Join our dynamic team as a Sales and Research P&A Specialist, where you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives across multiple products. Be at the forefront of innovation in analytics and reporting, shaping the future of our Commercial & Investment Bank.
As a Sales and Research Planning & Analysis Specialist, you'll work closely with Sales and Research Management, Business Management, and other stakeholders to provide impactful reporting, planning and insightful analyses and drive business growth. The role offers excellent opportunity to gain insight into all four dimensions of P&A Functions (Analytics, Reporting & Control, Traditional Planning & Analysis (P&A), Projects/Continuous improvement) across asset classes and you will partner closely with technology team to improve our reporting infrastructure and suite of dashboards / Tableau / Alteryx / Qliksense tools to meet evolving demands
Job responsibilities
+ Act as a strategy partner, designing reporting frameworks for data analysis.
+ Develop, consolidate and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis including budgets, strategic reviews, townhalls and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
+ Conduct competitor analysis.
+ Ensure integrity of sales revenue numbers and liase with relevant groups to resolve issues as they arise.
+ Collaborate with the offshore (India) reporting team to ensure deliverables are correct and business-relevant, and to develop innovative reports or analysis to help the Business and Sales Desk Heads in their decision-making process.
+ Analyze and report revenue, headcount, expenses, and product sales allocations.
+ Develop cross-product reporting and productivity analysis.
+ Drive standardization and best practices across regions.
+ Work on continuous improvement projects for productivity and efficiency.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Self-starter in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or relevant field.
+ Ability to manage competing deadlines and demands.
+ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint.
+ Excellent communication and partnering skills.
+ Strong team player comfortable engaging at all levels.
+ Experience with Business managers and Sales heads.
