As a **Radiation Therapist** , you’ll play a vital role in patient treatment and safety.     Role Overview:

    + Administer radiation oncology treatments according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescription under a minimum of supervision.

    + Keep accurate daily records of treatments administered.

    + Instruct students on technical procedures during their clinical rotations under the supervision of the Chief Therapist.

    Key Qualifications

    + Graduate of an A.M.A. approved 2-year training program in radiation therapy technology or its equivalent is required.

    + Registered Radiation Therapy licensure in the state of New York is required.

    + Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required

    + BLS Required

    + An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and communicating based on that understanding.

    + Schedule: Flexibility for shift between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday

    + Location: 530 E 74th St, New York, NY (MSK Koch Center)

    + Report to: Chief Radiation Therapist, Regional

     

    Pay Range: $46.52 - $74.52

    FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
