Job Title: Entry-Level Insurance Authorization Specialist

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $19/hour

Excel testing required

Job Duties Include:

+ Obtaining authorizations from payers for requested services

+ Documenting authorization details, including effective and end dates

+ Coordinating pre-certifications and consulting with agencies for private insurance referrals

+ Acting as a liaison between branch locations and payers

+ Communicating updates and changes to branch teams

+ Accessing authorizations via email, phone, fax, or online platforms

+ Resolving customer inquiries and concerns professionally

+ Independently solving problems before escalating to supervisors

+ Performing eligibility checks and other related administrative tasks

Consistent experience or ability to jump into a new environment, computer proficiency is extremely important!

Open to ALL different experience if comfortable with computers, most important is intangibles, customer service, dependable, willingness to learn, MUST PASS EXCEL Testing

Best: customer service, medical, insurance

Attendance: ask in references how many days they missed in last 6 months

- Minimal time off in first 6 months

Must complete MS EXCEL

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
