As a Data Engineer, you understand the power of transforming that data into actionable insights, especially when it’s sourced from diverse systems. That’s why we need your expertise to help our clients uncover answers that drive critical missions—from fraud prevention and cancer research to national security.

At TEKsystems, you’ll play a key role in building cutting-edge data solutions for some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll design and deploy data pipelines and platforms that bring clarity and meaning to complex, fragmented datasets.

You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of analysts, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. Your experience in data exploration and analysis will be essential as you lead efforts to assess, architect, and maintain scalable data platforms that empower our clients to make informed decisions.

What You’ll Do:

+ Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines that transform disparate data into meaningful intelligence.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams of analysts, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment.

+ Lead efforts in data exploration, platform architecture, and automation to support mission-driven solutions.

+ Guide the implementation of advanced technologies to streamline data workflows and improve performance.

Required Qualifications:

+ Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting, Terraform, and Ansible for automation.

+ Hands-on experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Docker and Kubernetes for PostgreSQL deployment.

+ Expertise in managing PostgreSQL databases on AWS or similar cloud platforms.

+ Strong understanding of database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

+ Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments and deliver tailored solutions.

+ Top Secret clearance.

+ Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with large-scale enterprise systems, or 14+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience optimizing SQL workflows and PostgreSQL monitoring setups.

+ Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server performance tuning.

+ Knowledge of logical decoding and replication.

+ Agile development experience.

+ TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
