**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Data Scientist** to join our team in **California, MD.** This is a **hybrid** position, with 4 days onsite, and 1 remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Design and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar analytics software (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) to provide actionable insights from complex datasets
+ Analyze technology/capability gaps, then research, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions to improve the final solution and expedite solution deployment
+ Work closely with other developers to design and optimize the solution for performance, adaptability, and maintainability
+ Conduct thorough unit, integration, and cybersecurity testing and remediate identified bugs throughout development cycles
+ Assist in the creation of clear and concise technical documentation, user guides and training material for the developed solution
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
+ 3+ years of experience in software development
+ Experience with data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
+ Proven experience managing small projects and drafting associated planning documentation, such as schedules and Work Breakdown Structures
+ Ability to translate complex data into easily understandable visual reports for diverse stakeholders
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
