As an IVR Chatbot Developer (Genesys focus), you will make an impact by designing and implementing intuitive self-service solutions that enhance customer experience and reduce the need for live assistance. You will be a valued member of the Customer Experience Technology team and work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and implement self-service IVR and Omni-Channel Orchestration Routing using Genesys Cloud CX.
• Design and build voice and non-voice applications (SMS, Email, Chat, Voice Bot) using Genesys Cloud CX Architect Bot Flows.
• Deliver speech-based interfaces and dynamic menus aligned with customer treatment strategies.
• Integrate Genesys solutions with internal and external systems.
• Contribute to the evolution of conversational bots and API-driven self-service capabilities.
Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Newark, NJ. What you need to have to be considered
• 3 to 5 years of development experience with self-service IVR and Omni-Channel Routing on Genesys Cloud CX.
• Hands-on experience with voice and non-voice application development using Genesys Cloud CX Architect Bot Flows.
• Proven delivery of self-service and analytics solutions with speech-based interfaces.
• Strong understanding of Genesys Framework and integration with internal/external components.
• Genesys Cloud CX certification in one or more solution areas (Inbound, Outbound, Multi-channel, etc.).
These will help you stand out
• Experience with API integration and conversational bot development.
• Background in designing intuitive and natural communication flows.
• Familiarity with open-source chatbot frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,000 – $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
