    7th Grade Assistant Boys Basketball Coach (2025-26 school year)Stipend = $2,051 (2024-25 school year)

     

    BMS coaches must demonstrate an understanding of the full range of physical and social/emotional needs of our middle school student athletes. They should consistently display a personal manner and a professional skill set that would inspire participation and build the confidence and skill necessary for all players to improve as both students and athletes.

    Qualifications for this position:

    + Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license.

    + Must be able to be at Bettendorf Middle School by 3:20 pm to assist with practice.

    Responsibilities of this position:

    + Assist the Head Coach at all practices and team activities.

    + Monitor the academic progress of your student athletes and adhere to the school’s eligibility guidelines.

    + Supervise the locker room, when appropriate before and after all practices and games.

    + Keep track of all equipment issued and help put away at the end of season.

     

    Eligibility: Applicants must have valid U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an active work visa.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
