Genesys Cloud CX Developer
We’re seeking a skilled Genesys Cloud CX Developer to design, develop, and optimize multichannel self-service and IVR solutions. This role focuses on creating seamless customer experiences across voice and digital channels using Genesys Cloud CX, with a strong emphasis on integration, automation, and analytics.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an **onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in** **Bridgewater – NJ.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement multichannel self-service/IVR and omni-channel orchestration routing solutions on Genesys Cloud CX.
• Build and integrate Voice and Non-Voice (SMS, Email, Chat, Voice Bot, etc.) applications using Genesys Cloud CX Architect.
• Apply a thorough understanding of the Genesys Framework to integrate internal and external system components.
• Deliver self-service and analytics solutions enabled with speech-based interfaces and dynamic menus, tailored to customer treatment strategies.
• Ensure solutions meet high standards for scalability, reliability, and customer engagement.
• Maintain Genesys Cloud CX certification in one or more focused solution areas (Inbound, Outbound, Multi-channel, Desktop, Integration, Recording, Reporting, etc.) and apply this expertise to project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation and integration of Genesys solutions.
• Stay current with Genesys Cloud CX platform updates and best practices to continuously improve solution quality.
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of application development experience implementing multichannel self-service/IVR and Omni-Channel Orchestration Routing on Genesys Cloud CX.
• Functional and hands-on experience on development on Voice and Non-Voice (SMS, Email, Chat, Voice Bot, etc.) applications solutioning using Genesys Cloud CX Architect.
• Delivery credentials for Self-Service and Analytics solutions enabled with speech-based interfaces and dynamic menu based on customer treatment strategies.
• Genesys Cloud CX certified professional in one or more focused solution areas (Inbound, Outbound, Multi-channel, Desktop, Integration, Recording, Reporting, etc.)
• Genesys Architect Flows, Data Actions, OAuth and Integrations objects
• Genesys Integration with other Ancillary Products
• Genesys Cloud Reporting
• Genesys Cloud APIs
Salary and compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
