A Reporting Technology Lead is accountable for the design, development, and management of Lineage’s reporting solutions. Specifically, this includes being responsible for leading the architecture design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide reporting solutions. The Reporting Technology Lead will be a player-coach and oversee the following areas:
1. Reporting Architecture Design – develop robust reporting architectures that meet up-time and scalability requirements
2. Reporting Tool Selection – research and recommend tools to support business needs
3. Report Development – manage a team of report developers
4. Data Quality – ensure reporting solutions are thoroughly tested and high quality

Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
+ Provide technical vision and strategy for all reporting solutions
+ Lead discussions on overall reporting architecture solutions and design
+ Possess the ability to a create robust, scalable, and sustainable reporting architectures that support global requirements
+ Perform detailed data analysis and translate business requirements into technical designs
+ Lead a team of employees and partners to build integrated and optimized reporting solutions
+ Automate, monitor, and support reporting solutions, and re-design if required to make them faster and/or more reliable
+ Work closely with DBAs and data architects to help ensure the physical design meets the functional and performance requirements of the reporting applications utilizing the data
+ Collaborate with the Lineage product team and data API developers on data mapping and report application design
Requirements:
+ Possess prior experience in designing enterprise-wide reporting solutions
+ Exhibit full life cycle experience in building and supporting reporting solutions
+ Architect and implement reporting solutions
+ Grow and maintain a broad and deep knowledge of reporting technologies
+ Possess a willingness to be coached and proactively seek feedback
+ Handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously
+ Properly set priority and order for work
+ Work in a fast-paced, agile environment
+ Ask for help and provide it to others
+ Understand your skills and your talents and apply them appropriately
+ Learn and apply new technologies and business concepts
+ Maintain personal accountability for getting things done on time and with quality results
+ Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders
+ Be willing and able to travel on occasion (<3 days per month)
Education and/or Experience:
+ 10+ years building end-to-end reporting solutions; delivering robust architecture designs and high-quality reports with extensive experience translating business needs into reporting requirements
+ A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience of 6+ years in IT or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
+ At least 3-5 years of experience with large scale reporting platform technologies (e.g. Jaspersoft, Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Sisense, Business Objects, OBIEE, Cognos, etc.)
+ Experience with a mix of relational and cloud database technologies like Microsoft SQL-Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.
Preferred Skills:
+ Previous Supply Chain or Logistics industry experience strongly preferred
+ Experience working with data from the following technologies is a plus: ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, HRIS
+ Prior software development experience is also preferred
