Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 10 years of experience in program or project management.
+ 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
+ Experience in construction commercial/cost control, supply chain management, contracts management, or construction project management.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience in procurement planning and procurement policy, with excellent supplier management skills.
+ Knowledge of contracts, contract law, and claims management processes and procedures.
+ Knowledge of construction costs drivers, methods of measurement (basis of pricing) and how to influence them.
+ Knowledge of the local/regional market in relation to industry trends and norms.

As the Pre-Construction Manager, you will proactively drive the construction procurement and contracting stages of Strategy development and localization (initiation), Procurement Planning, Bid/Evaluate/Negotiate, and supplier performance management (Execution). You'll act as Pre-Construction leadership within the projects, directing activities required to support the planning and execution of the project.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
+ Provide expertise in construction contracting methods and compensation methodologies, understanding the relationship between contractual responsibilities and assignment of risk, and the relationship between construction costs, quality, and schedule.
+ Model standard business processes, ensure compliance with corporate fiscal, legal, environmental, and risk management policies in order to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risk, and optimize value.
+ Plan for and implement systems necessary to support project execution to budget and schedule expectations.
+ Maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships and participate in high-level conversations for major contracts.
+ Collaborate with and drive the integration of other strategies such as prefab, preassembly, modularization and off-site fabrication, and low-cost sourcing of equipment and strategic materials that reduce cost and delivery.
