    Job Description

    **Revelyst** is seeking a proven Amazon leader to serve as **Senior Director** **, Amazon Channel Development** for some of our most iconic brands, including **CamelBak, Giro, Fox, Bell, and others** . This role is central to our long-term growth strategy and will be a key member of the Amazon leadership team. Think of this as the general manager of our Amazon business: accountable for delivering the number, driving growth, developing and executing a comprehensive Amazon channel strategy, cultivating high-impact relationships and leading cross-functional execution. You’ll own revenue, contribution margin, and trade spend, while working closely with merchandising, marketing, content, supply chain and other leaders to ensure our brands win on Amazon 1P. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our Amazon business and help make Amazon our largest and most strategic global account.

     

    This position will report to the **Sr. Vice President of Amazon** and will be based our of our **Irvine, CA** office.

     

    As the Sr. Director of Amazon Channel Development, you will have an opportunity to:

     

    + **Own the Amazon Business:** Deliver revenue, contribution margin, and market share goals across a portfolio of leading sports and outdoor brands.

    + **Lead the Team:** Manage and develop a team of Key Account Managers and a Sales Analyst/Demand Planner to drive performance, insights, and flawless execution.

    + **Strategic Growth Leadership:** Build and execute long-term growth strategies to make Amazon our largest and most strategic account.

    + **Vendor Central Expertise:** Leverage deep knowledge of Amazon 1P to optimize assortment, pricing, promotions, and operational execution.

    + **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Partner with internal leaders across marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and content to ensure alignment and execution against growth goals.

    + **Amazon Relationships:** Build and manage senior-level partnerships with Amazon category managers, advertising teams, and other stakeholders to unlock growth opportunities.

    + **Partnership Development:** Negotiate and execute annual joint business plans, term sheets, and partnership agreements that strengthen our position and create win-win outcomes.

    + **Innovation & Enablement:** Drive innovation in Amazon channel tactics — from new product launches and enhanced content strategies to emerging ad formats and retail technology adoption. Stay ahead of Amazon platform changes, tools, and trends to maintain a competitive edge.

    + **Data-Driven Decisions:** Use insights, analytics, and KPIs to track performance, identify opportunities, and ensure accountability.

    + **Operational Excellence:** Navigate complexity in a matrix environment, bringing organization, clarity, and drive to achieve results.

    You have:

    + **Proven Amazon Leadership:** 10+ years of experience managing large-scale consumer brands on Amazon 1P (Vendor Central). Experience managing businesses in the hundreds of millions of dollars is strongly preferred.

    + **P&L Accountability** **:** Track record of delivering revenue, margin, and trade spend accountability on Amazon.

    + **Team Builder:** Experience leading, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.

    + **Strategic & Hands-On:** Ability to set vision and strategy, while also rolling up sleeves to solve complex challenges and drive execution.

    + **Partnership Builder:** Demonstrated success developing senior-level relationships with Amazon and negotiating JBP agreements.

    + **Innovator:** Curious and future-focused, with a track record of driving innovation in retail tactics, content, and media.

    + **Cross-Functional Operator:** Skilled at influencing and collaborating across marketing, supply chain, finance, and creative functions.

    + **Data-Driven:** Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.

    + **Communicator:** Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to distill complexity into clarity.

    + **Industry Passion:** Experience in Sports & Outdoors is a plus, but a proven record of leadership and results in any consumer category is what matters most.

    + **Global Perspective:** International Amazon experience a plus.

    Pay Range:

    Annual Salary: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00

     

    The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
