**Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems** has an opening for a **Manager General Manufacturing 3** to lead our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in **Clearfield, Utah** .
Position Summary / Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for a section of operations execution in the Aeronautics Composite Center Elevated (ACCE) building. The primary purpose of this position is to lead the manufacturing organization for a program(s). The candidate will be measured on both financial and non-financial indicators directly related to safety, quality, on-time delivery, employee engagement, and cost profitability. The Candidate’s other primary roles include both creation of strategic vision (long-term) and tactical management (short-term) for the assigned programs within ACCE.
+ Has overall responsibility for execution of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee, and Cost objectives, along with Employee Engagement for a large organizational unit within the ACCE site
+ Strong focus on safe work environment, Zero Defects, and continuous improvement activities
+ Optimizes product flow, production rates, and product mix to meet customer demands, improve inventory turns and drive month-over-month cost improvement
+ Responsible for proactive resource management to mitigate production schedule risks
+ Support a work environment characterized by employee involvement and participative management to encourage the highest level of employee commitment and cooperation
+ Manage site staffing levels to support customer requirements while maintaining efficient operations

Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma with 10 years manufacturing experience and 5 years of management experience.
+ Experience managing multiple programs
+ Experience in labor and capacity forecasting
+ Experience manufacturing Composites structures
+ Knowledge of composites manufacturing processes
+ Experience with mid to high-rate production programs
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering or other related disciplines
+ Experience in implementing continuous improvement.
+ Demonstrated use of production control tools (e.g., schedule, MRP, manpower forecasts
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to work with others at all levels of the organization
+ Conflict management skills and negotiation skills
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational skills
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize
+ Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced, diverse environment
+ Initiative, self-starter, adaptable, and high motivation for excellence

Primary Level Salary Range: $121,300.00 - $181,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
