About the role

Step into a dynamic, hands-on technical role where you're not just maintaining equipment—you’re the frontline force keeping operations humming. From proactive preventive maintenance to diagnosing, repairing, and installing complex systems, you'll be the go-to expert driving reliability and performance.

Must be able to work 4:00 AM to 4:30 PM. (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off).

Your responsibilities

+ Drive equipment upgrades focused on capacity, quality, and cost.

+ Design and implement planned maintenance and new projects.

+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions per downtime procedures.

+ Recommend and support safety improvements to ensure a compliant, hazard-free environment.

+ Work autonomously across all shifts (days, evenings, weekends); lead and train others in all production areas.

+ Support escalation process for line stoppages >15 minutes or sustained low OEE.

+ Participate in equipment selection and design enhancements.

+ Provide excellent service to internal customers and collaborate effectively in team settings.

+ Ensure adherence to safety, cGMP, and quality standards.

+ Document all work in CMMS, pass-down logs, email, and logbooks per Reckitt Salt Lake City policy.

+ Inspect facilities and report damage to Maintenance and Facilities Manager.

+ Order parts and initiate vendor quotes for breakdowns, PMs, and modifications.

+ Tag and CC asset mechanics to transition ownership when appropriate.

+ Operate within prescribed budgets for equipment and production changes.

+ Must meet or exceed all Level 1 criteria to qualify for Level 2.

The experience we're looking for

+ Very strong electrical or mechanical skills and competent in the other.

+ Must have a excellent mechanical aptitude.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair sophisticated electrical controls and mechanical systems.

+ Must have good communication skills (English) and the ability to interact well with other departments in a team environment.

+ Must have intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Windows) and have ability to learn new systems as required.

+ Must be a competent troubleshooter and understand both the equipment function and the production process associated with the equipment.

+ Must be physically able to bend and twist.

+ Must be capable of lifting 55 pounds.

+ Awareness of Quality/Good Manufacturing Practice and experience of a KPI focused environment

Pay Range

Starting pay is $32 per hour + depending on level of experience

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
