Description of Work Unit
CEMML is a research, education and service unit within the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University ( CSU ). CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. We collaborate with our sponsors and within CSU to resolve complex environmental issues, leaving a legacy of science-based decisions that sustain our resources for future generations. Position Summary
CSU CEMML is seeking to build an open pool of candidates for future Natural and Cultural Resources Administrative Professional positions. This pool is exclusively open to current and former participants of CEMML’s Early-career Development Program ( ECDP ).
As an ECDP participant, you received specialized training designed to prepare you for careers in environmental and resource management, including work with CEMML and its partners. This open pool provides an opportunity for you to be considered for advanced roles that align with your training, experience, and professional interests. Positions may vary in duration and scope, and some may offer salaried, benefited employment. By applying to this pool, you express interest in being considered for future roles aligned with your expertise.

Required Job Qualifications
+ Must be a current or former participant of CEMML’s ECDP .
+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (though some positions may require a degree).
+ Effective communication skills, including ability to maintain effective working relationships.
+ Ability to work both independently and effectively in a team.
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by proposed start date; CEMML cannot provide visa sponsorship for the position.
Preferred Job Qualifications
+ A degree, certification, and/or license in the field of interest.
+ Professional experience in the field of interest.
+ The successful candidate must:
+ Have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license by the employment start date.
+ Have the willingness and ability to walk and/or hike long distances and work outdoors in adverse weather on rugged terrain.
+ Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance.
