Process Support Technician

CTG is seeking to fill a Process Support Technician opening for our client in Yorktown Heights, NY.
**Location:** Yorktown Heights, NY
**Duration:** 6 months
Duties:
+ Process wafers and/or other substrates through lithography (coat, expose, develop), wet and dry etch, cleans, thin film deposition, dicing, metrology, etc.
+ Identify, communicate, and solve problems; organize projects and workflow.
+ Accurately document and summarize data and process steps as specified.
+ Work closely with Engineers, Scientists, and Inventors from many different disciplines. Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
+ Utilize Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
Skills:
+ US Citizenship is strongly preferred; dual citizenship must be disclosed.
+ Hands-on experience in semiconductor-like processing steps.
+ Strong dexterity with ability to handle small, sensitive parts.
+ Ability to learn to operate new tools and chemical processing steps.
+ Observant, with the ability to identify sources of variability and yield impact.
+ Flexible and willing to learn new tasks in a varied workload.
+ Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Experience:
+ Direct experience with photolithographic, thin film processes, wet chemical processing, metrology, dicing, and bonding in a cleanroom environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to handle delicate samples and perform manual technical work.
Education:
+ Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent technical training and experience considered.

Additional Information:
+ Position is for 2nd shift: 2:00–2:30 pm start, 11:00–11:30 pm end (9 hours with 1-hour dinner).
+ Overtime is not anticipated but candidates should be prepared to support reasonable requests (approx. 4 hrs/week).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
