CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager I opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
**Pay:** $48.00/hr
**Duration:** 12 months
W2 only.

Overview:
Under the direction of a more senior Project Manager, manages multiple small-sized projects. Oversees changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques to keep project plans accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized changes, while facilitating customer acceptance.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Manage multiple small projects under the guidance of a senior Project Manager.
+ Develop project plans, forecasts, and schedules; gather detailed project requirements and document deliverables.
+ Ensure project plans include work breakdown, organization charts, cost/budget, communication, risk, quality, and resource plans.
+ Communicate project plans to stakeholders and project team members to set expectations and align efforts.
+ Execute project tasks, monitor work, manage budgets, and control project changes.
+ Track project performance, identify variances, implement corrective actions, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
+ Mitigate project risks and implement approved actions.
+ Build team cohesiveness, mentor, train, and motivate project team members.
+ Support larger initiatives under direction of senior management.
+ Ensure compliance with risk, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
+ Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment reflecting the M&T Bank brand.
+ Complete other related duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Manages all aspects of smaller projects, from initiation to close, ensuring coordination of team activities and adherence to project objectives.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
Allocates work as a team leader; may check on completion and quality.
Education and Experience Required:
+ Proficiency in building/utilizing JIRA Dashboards and Power BI for tracking project progress.
+ Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
+ Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills to manage multiple delivery teams.
+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of general management, project analysis, or project management experience, including at least 1 year of project management experience.
+ OR, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including 2 years of general management/project analysis/project management experience, of which 1 year is project management.
+ Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software packages.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
