CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Logistics Technician I.

**Pay Rate:** $15/hour

**Work Hours:** M-F 7am–3pm

Description

CTG is seeking a motivated and reliable Logistics Technician I to join a large, fast-paced shipping and warehouse department. The ideal candidate will support logistics operations by assisting with loading and unloading shipments, transporting materials across the facility, and ensuring efficient and accurate movement of goods.

Responsibilities include:

+ Load and unload semi-trailers and shipping containers with supplies, orders, and materials.

+ Transport materials and inventory between onsite locations using a standard box truck.

+ Operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to move and organize goods in the warehouse.

+ Assist with general warehouse duties such as inventory organization, labeling, and documentation.

+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

+ Complete additional auxiliary tasks as directed by the area supervisor.

Requirements:

• Experience working in warehouse or logistics environments.

• Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.

• Valid driver’s license and experience docking a standard box truck into a shipping bay.

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mentality.

• Effective communication and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping operations preferred.

• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain).

• Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and warehouse management best practices.
