    This is an exciting, high visibility role with significant opportunity for career growth! Lead a team at the El Paso, TX site that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve production control output and continuous improvements working with Operations, Engineering, and operations. You will drive the strategic direction and initiatives that ensures product is coordinated, monitored and completes the production cycle according to schedule.

     

    This job opening is for the 2nd Shift (2:00pm-12:00am).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Promote effective Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and practices.

    • Promote vision, direction, and leadership for the development and implementation of process improvements and lean initiatives through the use HOS (Honeywell Operating System)

    • Assist with development and delivery of the Annual Operating Plan and Metrics Improvement.

    • Maintain cost effectiveness through aggressive productivity and asset management.

    • Monitor and evaluate goals, driving for standardized effective solutions to existing problems.

    • Assist with teams standardized work to ensure adherence to standard processes and procedures.

    • Support and maintain the 5S system.

    • Review metrics daily, participate in daily communication meetings, and respond as required to abnormalities.

    • Promote a quick response to problems and support the escalation to drive a quality process.

    • Communicate goal progress and roadblocks to Operations Manager.

    • Work closely with production planning, manufacturing engineering and other support staff to assure all requirements are met.

    • Facilitate change

    • Project management

    • People management

    • Oversee production schedules

    • Capacity requirement review

    • Labor Management and Forecasting

    • Material availability analysis

    • Engineering reviews

    • Ability to work non-standard business hours.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or military environment

    • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office

    WE VALUE

    • Bachelor’s Degree

    • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles

    • Microsoft Excel with data analytics

    • Some experience leading teams/managing direct reports

    • Significant experience in manufacturing or production environment

    • Degree of creativity and latitude.

    • Able to make decisions using data provided

    • Working knowledge of basic computer skills
