    Salary: $2821 / Week

     

    The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    -SLP-CCC will be prioritized, but will accept CFY at a lower bill rate

    Main locations will be at the evaluation center in Albany and servicing districts across Linn and Benton counties. ESD can be flexible if candidates have a preference on location

    Hours/Week (Paid/Unpaid Lunch):

    37.5 hours/week

    Position Details (Age group, Caseload, Duties):

    -5 SLP opening K-12 - full-time preferred, but ESD can be flexible if they need part-time

     

    -Main locations will be at the evaluation center in Albany and servicing districts across Linn and Benton counties. ESD can be flexible if candidates have a preference on location

     

    -Floating will be involved and candidates will be reimbursed for mileage

     

    -Manageable caseloads between 40-60 students

     

    -Mostly evaluations

     

    -Each SLP is set up with a mentor and the team has regular department meetings. Their SLP team is very collaborative and supportive
