Resource Specialist | $70/hr | Full-Time | Mild/Moderate | Burlingame, CA | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Resource Specialist to support students in Burlingame, California for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 6, 2025, and runs for 200 school days, offering $70/hour for 32.5–35 hours/week.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Burlingame, CA

+ Start Date: October 6, 2025

+ Duration: 200 school days

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 32.5–35 hours/week

+ Modality: In-person

+ Pay Rate: $70/hour

+ Credential Required: Mild/Moderate

Responsibilities:

+ Provide group and 1:1 instruction aligned with students’ IEPs

+ Evaluate student progress and maintain documentation

+ Write IEPs including transitional goals

+ Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual needs

+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff

+ Participate in assessments, meetings, and in-service education

+ Support general education teachers with modification tracking

+ Research and order instructional materials

Minimum Requirements:

+ Valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ One year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
