    Special Education Resource Specialist Teacher – San Jose, CA

     

    Pay Rate: $70/hr

     

    Schedule: 40 hours/week

     

    Duration: 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Amergis is seeking a dedicated Special Education Resource Specialist Teacher to support students in San Jose, CA for the full 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, in-person position offering competitive hourly compensation and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.

    Position Details:

    + Location: San Jose, CA

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + End Date: June 2026

    + Hours: 40 hours/week

    + Setting: School-based, in-person

    + Caseload: Resource Specialist caseload (details provided during interview)

    Requirements:

    + Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or equivalent)

    + Experience working with students in a resource setting preferred

    + Strong collaboration and communication skills

    + Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide specialized academic instruction to students with IEPs

    + Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

    + Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

    + Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation
