    Salary: $2586 / Week

     

    The Marriage and Family Counselor provides professional counseling services designed in assisting participants in behavior change to maintain a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through individual and group therapy.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field preferred

    + Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work, Family Therapy preferred

    + Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as required by state regulations and/or contract specifications

    + One (1) year of experience in counseling preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Job Description:

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) for a correctional facility in Corcoran, CA , specializing in substance abuse treatment . This is a travel contract position with flexible scheduling and competitive weekly pay.

    Position Details:

    + Contract Length: 26 weeks minimum (extensions available)

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Orientation: 2 weeks, Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    + Schedule Options:

    + Mon–Fri (5x8), 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    + Mon–Thu (4x10), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

    + Tue–Fri (4x10), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

    + Part-Time Available: 1 day/week, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Compensation:

    + Weekly Pay: $2706/week

    + $1460 Taxable Income

    + $1246 Stipends

    Requirements:

    + Active LMFT License in California

    + BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

    + Minimum 12 months of experience in any setting with LMFT license
