Your Role:
General purpose is to review and reconcile charges of all Cath Lab procedures. In detail, a daily report in EPIC is used to pull all procedures from the prior day. From the EPIC report, the charge reviewer is responsible for completing an individual medical record review on all procedures and confirming all charges are accurate and in accordance with revenue policies. The daily objective is to complete the previous day’s accounts. Emails are sent out to Cath Lab staff with discrepancies to reconcile any differences, ensuring optimal charge capture.
Your Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required and some college preferred.
• Six months prior experience preferably in a Cath Lab with history of charge capture experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Cath Lab charge capture rules and regulations preferred.
• Prior work history with EPIC preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Must be well organized in their work.
