We have an outstanding career opportunity for aConcrete Estimatorto join a leading Company located in theRaleigh, NC surrounding area.

We're hiring a Concrete Estimator with experience in heavy civil construction, particularly water/wastewater treatment plants (WTP/WWTP). This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, strategic, and ready to work on high-impact public and private projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Estimating

+ Review blueprints, specs, geotechnical reports, and addenda

+ Perform accurate takeoffs: concrete, rebar, formwork, embeds, accessories

+ Create detailed cost estimates across all phases of concrete work

+ Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

Bid Management

+ Lead the full bid process, from takeoff to final proposal

+ Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits

+ Communicate with GCs, engineers, and owners for clarification

Risk & Value Analysis

+ Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities

+ Recommend cost-saving alternatives and schedule efficiencies

Team Collaboration

+ Work hand-in-hand with PMs, field leaders, and operations

+ Support seamless project handoffs with thorough documentation

Basic Hiring Criteria:

+ Degree or 3 years' experience
