Entities regulated include debt management companies, delayed deposit businesses (payday lenders), loan companies, money services businesses, and mortgage bankers/brokers/loan originators/servicers/closing agents. The examiner position provides a great opportunity for an individual to participate in examinations designed to assess a financial service provider’s overall financial condition and compliance with laws and regulations.
