    Salary: $2659 / Week

     

    The Unlicensed Social Worker/Counselor/Mental Health Clinician provides counseling to patient’s in a variety of settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations that are in need of assistance.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements

    + The Counselor may possess an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively recruiting Associate Social Workers (ASWs) and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) for a 10-week assignment in Oakland, CA. This position supports Substance Use Treatment Services (SUTS) and Justice-Involved Mental Health (JIMH) programs.

    Compensation:

    + Travel Pay: $2,659/week

    + Includes $1,000 taxable income + $1,959 stipends

    + Local Pay Option: $58/hr

    Responsibilities:

    + Deliver substance use and mental health treatment services including assessment, treatment planning, discharge planning, case management, referrals, and supportive services.

    + Provide SUD treatment expertise to a multidisciplinary team.

    + Engage with justice-involved populations and participate in court-related settings.

    Qualifications:

    + Experience:

    + Minimum 2 years of direct service in behavioral health with co-occurring conditions.

    + Minimum 3 years in a drug/alcohol treatment setting addressing mental health (dual/triple diagnosis).

    + Experience working with justice-involved populations and comfort in court environments.

    + Credentials:

    + Active ASW or AMFT registration with the California BBS.

    + Current CADC I, II, or III certification (approved by DHCS and NCCA).
