    The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations, develops and implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programmatic therapeutic services, and develops behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral deficits. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst acts as a program supervisor who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises behavioral service delivery.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

    + Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field

    + Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Summary: Lori Center for Autism at Easterseals West Kentucky was recently opened in the summer of 2023 and is a start of the art facility providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy to children ages 2 to 13.

    Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | *DIRECT PLACEMENT*

    • Full-time & Part Time

    • 30-40 hours per week

     

    Job Description: The BCBA will be responsible for planning, developing and monitoring a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of individual clients. The BCBA also consults with and teaches staff/caregivers/team members regarding pro-active, educational, programming and behavioral support; develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans; and collaborates with related services providers as appropriate. The BCBA also provides direct staff supervision and evaluation of staff performance both verbally and in writing.

    Duties:

    • Conduct clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based instruments such as VB-MAPP, AFLS and EFL

    • Write and update reports that include measurable and appropriate goals, progress and graphing

    • Develop parent training goals and participate in monthly training with families

    • Train staff on individual behavior intervention plans and proper ABA techniques

    • Provide clinical supervision to RBT’s

    • Provide mentorship to those seeking BCABA/BCBA certification

    • Collaborate with therapists from other disciplines

    Skills:

    • Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.

    • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.

    • Strong understanding of data collection methods and analysis related to behavior modification.

    • Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities.

    • Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and record keeping.

    • Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach.

    • Understanding of behavioral health principles and their application in clinical settings.

    Qualifications & Education:

    • BCBA certification required

    • Master’s degree required

    • Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects and goals

    • Highly organized and detail oriented

    • Must be a citizen of the United States and possess a valid driver’s license

    • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
