    Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Contract Opportunity

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Duration: 13 weeks (with likelihood of extension)

     

    Shift: Night Shift, 36 Hours/Wk.

     

    Misc: Facility does not allow block scheduling

     

    Pay Rate: Up to $3,307.00/Wk.

    About the Role:

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns during one of life’s most critical moments. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage all aspects of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.

    + Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs.

    + Administer medications, including oxytocin and epidural support.

    + Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.

    + Provide education and emotional support to patients and families

    + Document accurately in EMR systems and maintain compliance with facility protocols.

    Qualifications:

    + AHA BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications required.

    + Minimum 2 years of experience

    + Travel experience required. First time travelers will not be considered.

    + Must have acute care experience.

    + EPIC experience is highly preferred.

    + Flu vaccine required during season.

    + Must work every other major holiday.
