QUALIFICATIONS:Applicants must possess (or be eligible for) New York state SAS/SBL. Successful teaching experience (or equivalent) is required. Rush-Henrietta is seeking dynamic, dedicated, diverse applicants to join one of our district elementary school leadership teams as a full-time (12-month), tenure-track assistant principal.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of elementary instruction, adolescent development, and supervision practices that lead to teacher growth and student achievement.Collaborative leadership and effective communication, initiative and follow-through are essential, including the ability to manage school operations. Candidates must be able to collaborate withstudents and families in a culturally responsive manner, and to work for the success of all students.
