    Key Responsibilities:

    AV Project Management:

    + Collaborate with multi-functional teams to evaluate AV needs for new installations.

    + Develop and deploy impactful sound and image solutions that align with the company's communication requirements and criteria.

    + Coordinate the procurement and installation of AV equipment, including displays, sound systems, video conferencing setups, and related infrastructure.

    Daily Operations Support:

    + Reply to AV-related issues reported by office staff, diagnosing problems and providing effective solutions.

    + Carry out regular servicing, diagnostics, and software updates to guarantee the top performance of AV gear.

    + Monitor AV systems proactively, identifying potential issues and taking preventive actions to minimize disruptions.

    AV Training and User Support:

    + Develop and conduct comprehensive AV training programs for colleagues, ensuring that they can effectively operate and troubleshoot AV equipment.

    + Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing their AV-related questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

    + Develop user-friendly documentation and resources to help colleagues apply AV systems efficiently.

    Quality Assurance and Testing:

    + Perform routine quality assessments and testing on audiovisual systems to guarantee stable audio and visual performance and functionality.

    + Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements and upgrades, as necessary.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    + Work closely with IT teams, facilities management, and external vendors to ensure alignment on AV requirements and standards.

    + Communicate effectively with collaborators, providing regular updates on project progress, issue resolution, and upcoming initiatives.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    + Maintain detailed documentation of inventory, setups, maintenance timetables, and assistance engagements related to AV gear.

    + Generate reports detailing the status of AV systems, issues encountered, and steps taken to address them.

    Core Responsibilities include:

    System Design & Programming : Create and modify AV system software, design functional user interfaces, and develop control code for integrated AV systems. Hardware Configuration: Configure and install Cisco video conferencing systems, network devices, and other audio-visual hardware according to project specifications. DSP Programming & Optimization: Program Biamp Tesira DSP systems, including configuring filters, matrices, routing, and utilizing beamtracking microphones for optimal audio performance. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with AV equipment, software, and network infrastructure, and perform routine maintenance checks. Commissioning & Testing: Conduct commissioning and acceptance testing of AV systems to ensure they meet client requirements and perform as expected.

     

    Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including programming code, system manuals, and end-user guides. Specific Knowledge & Skills. Biamp Tesira: Expertise in navigating and utilizing Tesira software, configuring essential blocks, implementing Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), and managing system partitions. Cisco Hardware: Experience with Cisco video conferencing and networking equipment, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. AV System Knowledge: Understanding of AV signal flow, low-voltage wiring, rack setup, and the integration of various AV components like projectors, displays, and cameras.

     

    Network Management : Ability to configure network settings and manage firmware updates for AV devices. Collaboration & Support. Client Communication: Meet with clients to understand their needs, explain technical capabilities, and demonstrate completed systems to ensure satisfaction. End-User Training: Provide training to end-users on the proper operation of AV equipment and software applications. Teamwork: Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and other IT and AV professionals to deliver robust and integrated systems.

    + 5 plus years of proven experience in managing audio-video systems, preferably within a large corporation supporting senior leadership.

    + Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, including displays, video conferencing systems, audio devices, and cabling.

    + Proficiency in solving AV issues and diagnosing technical problems.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support senior leadership and provide effective guidance and support to users.

    + Ability to work under pressure within stringent timelines.

    + Project management skills to be responsible for AV installations and upgrades.

    + Proficiency in industry guidelines and protocols for AV system development and operation.

    + Proficiency using MS Office Products such as Outlook and Excel.

    + Ability to adapt to changing technological trends and learn new tools quickly.

    + Certifications in AV technology and project management are a plus.

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $115k to $125k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
