    This position will support North America (NA) Talent Solutions in effectively running the operational aspects of the business. The role will be focused on working closely with the Talent business leaders and interfacing effectively with Aon corporate and practice support functions such as Finance, HR, IT, & Real Estate. The role will also be responsible for project leadership and change management for select initiatives across the NA Talent business. The position will report to the COO-North America, and is hybrid based from any of Aon's U.S. offices.

    What the day will look like

    Business Strategy Execution and Routines—Drive execution of business strategy and plan. Establish routines to ensure communications cascade. Lead change management, decision prep and facilitation of leadership teams.

     

    Operational Effectiveness—Partner with the business unit leaders to deliver the business plan, including tightly leading any staffing required to deliver work. Maintain hiring rigor using facts and forecasts. Drive operational improvement plans and oversight. Uncover efficiency opportunities that help to drive profitable growth. Work with business leaders to determine if we need to reengineer any of our business areas based on financial trends. Conduct the analysis needed for sound decision making.

     

    Monthly Ops Reporting—Implement and review KPIs monthly/quarterly for the business. Understand sales pipeline and the connection to the revenue forecast. Track and understand the impact of talent attrition/hiring across locations. Track and understand the impact of the investment spend (e.g., Technology) and results. Track progress on Account Management and initiatives focused on extending and expanding client relationships.

     

    New Initiatives—Work across aligned leaders to identify and prioritize investments and quantify the impact on revenue, margin, and client retention/acquisition. Act as PMO to ensure business initiatives are on track and outcomes are achieved as expected. The role will also lead and support Aon United initiatives including, Financial system transformation, client relationship management system changes, and regulatory changes (e.g., GDPR).

     

    Global Business Services—Operationalize important Aon initiatives surfacing from the Current Results team and/or the GBS Operating Committee. Partner with our GBS BRM on opportunities to drive growth and work across Aon shared services (Real Estate, IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.) in an efficient and effective manner.

     

    Client Contracting—Coordinate client contracting guidelines across GI. Serve as escalation point for issues (client negotiations or internal challenges). Work with legal team as needed to improve processes.

     

    Revenue Crediting/Link to Pay—Establish global routine to track sales assists and revenue crediting. Share information in a manner that helps to reinforce our goal of leaders working across solution areas, so we can bring even greater value to our clients. Support HR and business leaders to ensure we are paying for performance.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    + Bachelor’s degree in related field required; MBA strongly preferred

    + 7+ years of relevant work experience in a professional and/or financial services environment or consulting firm

    + Knowledge of continuous improvement practices (for example: Lean Six Sigma)

    + Strong analytical expertise and sound decision-making capability

    + Process and business facilitation experience

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Shown discernment in business matters and executive presence

    + Experience collaborating with senior leadership cross functionally to drive business results

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

     

    This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
