**We are searching for the best talent for** a **Sr. Manager, Commercial Analytics** **– Surgical Vision** to be located in Irvine, CA.
**Purpose:** The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics is right at the heart of all action. In this role, you are a trusted business advisor for Marketing, Finance, Strategy, R&D, Supply Chain and Commercial teams around the globe. You drive a culture empowered by data-driven insights and shape critical decision-making. You are responsible to build deep market expertise across key regions to drive excellence in execution representing the voice of customer by evaluating & optimizing initiatives to drive market leading Innovation, strong Equity, and superior Customer Experience. As a key member of our Global Commercial Excellence team, you will join a fast-paced team of professionals that enable analytically driven capabilities.
You will be responsible for** **:
+ Lead the overall product portfolio forecast exercise and provide strategic input to long range financial plan, strategic plan, and business plan
+ Develop the new product forecast and market models, guided by market research and triangulation of primary and secondary data sources
+ Create, update and automate the near-term and long-term forecast models - develop scenarios to assess impact of different market events & commercial strategies
+ Provide proactive analysis of forecast drivers to understand key inflection points for the business forecast, sensitivities, risks & opportunities to ensure the organization remains agile and data-driven in its decision making
+ Collaborate with commercial teams to explore market trends, identify customer insights and develop targeted business solutions
+ Synthesize complex data from multiple sources (primary market research, secondary analytics, competitive intelligence) to find opportunities, threats, and develop recommendations to business leaders
+ Publish regular market share reports with advanced data visualizations to track global health of business and deliver market & competitor insights
+ Present the commercial analytics & forecast outputs to senior leaders and shape investment decisions
+ Lead a team of analytics professionals that act as internal consultants driving foundational studies as well as lean into innovative & agile methodologies
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, or related field
+ Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in insights, analytics or a related field
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and developing teams
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills
+ Excellent communication, partnering and influencing skills with cross-functional and cross-regional colleagues
+ Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel with deep experience in complex Excel models and large data sets
+ Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, interpret data, and process observations into actionable recommendations
+ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred:
+ MBA
+ Experience in Insights & Analytics within the health care industry
+ Demonstrated expertise in one or more of these data analysis tools - visualization/data discovery (Tableau, PowerBI) and data transformation tools (DataIku, Alteryx, SQL, Python)
+ Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to impact decision-making; willingness to “have an opinion” backed by insight and confidence to influence key senior leaders

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$137,000-$235,750
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
