    Description

    SUMMARY:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Prepare, review, and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner

    + Verify billing data, including contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements

    + Research and resolve billing discrepancies or issues promptly

    + Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records in the accounting system

    + Reconcile billing accounts and assist with month-end closing activities

    + Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries or payment status

    + Collaborate with other departments (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Operations) to ensure billing accuracy

    + Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed

    + Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

    + Perform all other duties as assigned

    TRAINING EXPECTATIONS:

    Associates in this role are expected, as a condition of employment, to complete all training assigned within a reasonabletime period,generally withinless than15 days.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

    This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have the authority to hire, fire, discipline, discharge, assign overtime, and/or direct and assign work, with the ability to effectively recommend any of these actions. This role also serves as a coach and mentor for other employees.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is not a hybrid, telecommute or remote role. This role is 100% in-office.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    This islargely asedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets andbend,or stand, as necessary.

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    TRAVEL:

    This position does not require travel.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

    + 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [insert your ERP or system name, e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or QuickBooks] is a plus)

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
