Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Wireless Engineer. The Wireless Engineer IV designs, deploys, and optimizes wireless networks with expert knowledge of 5G NR, LTE, and UMTS technologies, along with a thorough understanding of standards, protocols, and network architecture. This role ensures performance meets or exceeds operational thresholds by monitoring KPIs through in-house dashboards, OEM network management systems, drive test data, and subscriber experience information. Responsibilities include improving coverage, latency, throughput, and overall customer experience, auditing network configuration parameters, troubleshooting with cross-functional teams, and addressing service experience concerns for customers and employees.

Rate: $65 - $73 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

+ Design, deploy, and optimize wireless networks to improve performance and customer experience.

+ Continuously monitor KPIs through dashboards, OEM systems, drive test data, and subscriber feedback.

+ Audit network configuration parameters to identify optimization opportunities and deviations from golden parameters.

+ Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve network problems.

+ Review data to determine root cause of issues and define resolution steps.

+ Address customer and employee service experience issues.

Experience Requirements:

+ Expert knowledge of 5G NR, LTE, and UMTS technologies, with a thorough understanding of standards, protocols, and network architecture.

+ Proven ability to design, deploy, and optimize cellular wireless networks.

+ Strong proficiency with 5G NR testing and performance monitoring tools and methodologies.

+ Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex network issues.

+ Proficient knowledge of additional wireless access technologies and supporting protocols, including Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TCP/IP, UDP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, ACLs, and LDAP.

+ Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly both orally and in writing.

+ Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Education Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
