Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst position primarily supports the reporting, analysis and communication of actual financial performance and forecast outlook for Retail Lottery Technology projects. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing a wide scope of financial information to Retail Technology and Business Unit Management. The selected candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager Lottery Technology Finance.
Provide the financial skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to analyze, communicate and direct the financial performance of Brightstar’s Retail Lottery Technology business, including, but not limited to:
+ Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports for month-end close, forecasts, and budgets.
+ Serve as Financial Analyst/Lead on Retail Lottery Technology projects.
+ Provide financial support on project approval process, variance report generation, and research against budget/forecasts.
+ Provide financial support as needed to understand updates from contract vs. negotiated pricing models.
+ Maintain and monitor Technology Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
+ Collaborate with Business Finance, Regional Account team, and PMO to understand forecasts and budgets and educate them on Lottery Technology Finance policies.
+ Identify areas where cost improvements can be realized and assist in the implementation of such programs to affect cost improvements.
+ Augment other teams in Lottery Technology with ad hoc or periodic tasks.
+ Participate in ongoing assessment and improvement of financial processes and support the Finance Transformation program.
Qualifications
+ 0 – 8 years or more of job-related experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related area required.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
+ Experience with general accounting principles and procedures, financial forecasting techniques, compiling and presenting financial analysis.
+ Technical competence and willingness to learn new technologies and software applications.
+ Motivated self-starter with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
+ Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various business partners and senior leadership.
+ Results-oriented with ability to deliver high-quality work products.
+ Experience with business systems and financial reporting software, SAP BPC, and Microsoft PowerBI a plus
+ MBA/CPA or other finance related certification a plus

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting salary range is _$59,795 - $122,400_ . The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for short-term incentive or other discretionary bonuses. More senior roles maybe eligible for long-term incentive bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
