    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Cleared Mid-level Cloud Engineer to support a federal contract at Fort Meade. This individual will be supporting a software modernization effort of a legacy system. They will be required to build out CI/CD pipelines, setup new environments to migrate on-prem applications to MS Azure running on RedHat Linux, leverage Kubernetes for automated deployments and build infrastructure as code in Terraform. This individual will be heavily supporting high level stakeholders and will be interfacing, presenting, and communicating with them frequently.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline

    • 5+ years of DevSecOps experience

    • 3 years of experience with Azure and/or AWS

    • 2 years of experience with application and operating system security

    • 3 years of hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm, Nexus

    • 3 years’ hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform

    • 3 years of experience with Kubernetes in an Azure cloud environment

    • Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket • Experience performing AWS cloud migrations

    • Experience coding and scripting in Java or React

    • Experience with Azure

    • Experience following DOD SAFe Agile practices

    • Professionalism, GOOD communication

    • Can communicate technically with technical and non technical stakeholders

    • Has led a team of engineers/system admins previously
