• Gas & Chemical Technician

    Job Description

    -The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site's gas or chemical equipment. They will ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.

     

    -Support and lead the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors.

     

    -Ensure compliance when writing, editing, and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture.

     

    -Support installing, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing all client Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas, and Chemical systems.

     

    • Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers

    • Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance

    • Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs

    • Support of quality systems

    • Primary communication point to the customer

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Experience with gas-related equipment

     

    -Prior military experience

     

    -Experience with gas and/or chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operation

     

    -MS Office proficiency

     

    -Willingness to work twelve-hour shifts

     

    -Willingness to work nights

     

    -Technical degrees or relevant technical training

     

    -Strong technical aptitude

     

    -Excellent communication skills
