    Job Description

    Overview:

    Insight Global's client in the financial services industry is seeking a temporary Inventory Clerk to join their team. The individual will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, scanning packages into the system, performing light email communication, documentation, and phone support. Candidate must be reliable, versatile, hard-working, and have good attendance.

    D2D:

    Accept incoming shipments, verify delivery contents against purchase orders, and inspect items for damage or discrepancies.

     

    Email communication with various departments for operational updates.

     

    Prepare packages for ground shipment, coordinate with shipping vendors, and track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.

     

    Conduct regular inventory checks.

     

    Maintain and update inventory databases and asset logs using Microsoft Excel, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

     

    Generate inventory and shipping reports as needed, highlighting key metrics and trends for management review.

     

    Coordinate with procurement, IT support, and various teams to ensure the smooth flow of assets throughout their lifecycle.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    2-3+ years of experience working in an inventory, operations, or related role involving inventory management.

     

    Experience with documentation - strong attention to detail.

     

    Good communication and interpersonal skills - strong ability to work with clients and internal teams.

     

    MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

     

    Tech Savvy - seeking someone green who can learn a software quickly.

     

    Ability to wear multiple hats and hit the ground running.

     

    Ability to work onsite M-F 8 AM - 5 PM EST.
