Job Description
One of Insight Global’s top clients within the Banking Industry is looking for a Control Operations Analyst to sit on site 5 days a week in Salt Lake City. This person will sit within the Global Banking & Markets division, partnering with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside that vital service delivery role, the team provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. The position includes helping drive the strategy of an evolving organization and partnering with many stakeholders to meet the needs of the business. This includes regular interaction with various GS teams including the Sales desks, Operations, Engineering, Legal and Compliance as well as interaction with external parties such as Prime Brokers, Clearing Agents, and regulators.
Additional responsibilities include :
• Risk Management – Manage the risk of multiple functions that span the life cycle of a trade, including oversight of regulatory obligations, payment controls and exceptions workflow (i.e., ledger reconciliations).
• Strategy – Providing thought leadership to execute on and grow the Global Markets Control strategy; this includes:
• Establish New Controls for GBM Control – Partner with Technology to design, build and operate effective controls in a STP environment
• Provide leadership and direction to deliver on the business objectives set out for GBM Control.
• Develop Business Intelligence capabilities that would identify risk derived from the correlation of quantitative and qualitative data
• Industry/Regulatory Change Management – Keep abreast of regulatory change and participate in industry forums
• Industrialization – Champion reengineering programs with the goal of increasing efficiencies globally
• Foster relationships across multiple areas in the Firm including trading desks, operations, technology, legal and compliance departments and global groups

Skills and Requirements
• 1+ years of experience within the Financial Services industry
• Knowledge of financial products such as derivatives, FICC, etc
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field • Experience with change management or process improvement
• Experience with ledger or other securities reconciliations
