    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a seasoned mechanical systems expert to lead operations in our data centers. This role ensures the reliable and efficient performance of critical infrastructure including CDUs, chillers, pumps, VFDs, cooling towers, RTUs, AHUs, and fan walls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Oversee and optimize mechanical systems, especially CDU performance and maintenance.

     

    - Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

     

    - Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (ASHRAE, OSHA).

     

    - Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical failures.

     

    - Maintain detailed records and provide technical guidance to site teams.

     

    - Partner with onsite vendors to perform preventive maintenance and resolve mechanical issues.

     

    - Will be hands on and won't be interfacing with customers.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent military, trade school or hands-on experience.

     

    - 7+ years in data center or mission-critical mechanical systems.

     

    - Expertise in coolant or refrigerant systems

     

    - Preventative maintenance experience

     

    - Familiarity with BAS, BMS, CMMS - EPA 608 certification a plus.

     

    - Heavy mechanical experience

     

    - Navy nuculear experience

     

    - CDU Experience
