    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an eager, self-starter to join the team of a large manufacturing client. In this role, you will serve as a contract Engineering Technician in one of their industrial labs located in Bloomington, MN. This is physically, a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail and desire to perform tasks using hand tools and a variety of elements including water and oil. A basic understanding of computer skills and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel are required. A strong candidate would be eager to learn and a personal desire to work with hand tools and large machinery. This is the perfect opportunity to gain entry-level, hands-on experience within a large Air Lab.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Associate degree or 1+ year(s) of related experience

     

    -Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

     

    -Demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude

     

    -Good organization skills and ability to multi-task

     

    -Motivated and self-driven

     

    -Strong attention to detail -Previous experience as an engineering technician or related field experience preferred

     

    -Working knowledge of test equipment and test standards

     

    -Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office, MS Excel in particular)

     

    -Welding or fabrication experience
