Job Description
Collaborate with MDCPS teams to document future-state business processes using industry-standard notations (e.g., BPMN)
Build detailed Methods and Procedures documentation for specific tasks
Analyze workflows for improvement and optimization opportunities
Ensure business process documentation aligns with project objectives and timelines
Conduct workshops/interviews to address gaps in documentation
Support implementation of process improvements
Manage and close project “open items” related to business processes and procedures

Skills and Requirements
Most crucial experience is a strong background in project documentation, workflow mapping and business process mapping
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Modeler, or similar role
Proficiency with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPM tools)
Strong understanding of business process modeling notations, especially BPMN
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities Knowledge of the child welfare process and regulations is a huge plus!!
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, CMMI)
State Government experience, especially in DHS or Child Welfare domains
Experience working on child welfare projects
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or related field
