Job Description

A large hospital system is seeking a Product Analyst focused on providing subject matter expertise on the suite of our Navigation Service applications, including support of its functionality and utilization, collaborating with project teams and business partners to meet project objectives. This position will be collaborative to other analysts and technical teams to ensure successful support and delivery across the suite. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships and manage multiple priorities. This includes discussions and collaborating with other project team members to design functional product details and changes, identify and escalate project issues, and ultimately ensure product requirements are met. Technical skills are necessary to troubleshoot and analyze source to target data delivery into applications and business rules.

The candidate will provide hands-on expertise to independently resolve service delivery or functionality issues with the Navigation Suite of product, frequently communicating with project team members, support resources, other supporting departments and end users. This position requires a strong working knowledge on how messages are originated by targeted source systems, established in messaging applications, and sent to targeted audience. The ideal candidate for this position has an IT product development background with well-developed communication skills. Experience in SQL and triaging complex rules from source to target is preferred.

Skills and Requirements

2-4 years of Product Analyst, Product Owner, Implementation Analyst experience

• Knowledge/ experience with Healthcare Implementation and HL7 messages/interphases

• Strong Data Analysis – Will need to combine through EMR/EDW records if there are certain data elements achieved, so they will need to have the ability/familiarity to query into data warehouses, EMRs, HL7's, JSON's, etc.

• Strong excel – sort, filter, organize perform data analysis. • Knowledge of EMR -> epic, meditech, cerner, Allscripts. This stored in a Central Data Repository (Teradata and ECW).
