• Credit Collections Specialist

    Job Description

    Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a Collection's Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Fairfield. This person will be partnering closely with the sales and finance teams while also coordinating with current/future clients on payments. In this role they will be reviewing payment history and information from clients to ensure timely collection of accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding accounts receivable balances, maintaining positive customer relationships, and ensuring timely payments to support the company’s cash flow objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    *Reviewing credit applications and updating credit limits for clients

    *Communication with customers via phone and email on overdue or upcoming invoices

    *Posting payments in SAP

    *Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Billing) to resolve account discrepancies

    *Prepare and analyze aging reports and escalate problematic accounts as needed.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    3-5 years of experience in a credit or collections role

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, etc)

     

    Proficiency in Dun & Bradstreet reporting tool

     

    Proficiency in SAP

     

    High level of communication and professionalism
