The **Harborview Medical Center Pharmacy Department** is looking for an outstanding is looking for an outstanding **Pharmacy Technician – Medication Reconciliation** to join our Pharmacy team!
WORK SCHEDULE
+ Part-Time / 20 hours per week
+ Rotating/Variable Shift
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
+ Assist the Pharmacist in professional activities and assigned tasks including engaging in producing and recording an accurate patient medication list and other pharmacy related functions
+ All activities are performed under the general supervision of a registered Pharmacist
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Obtain accurate home medication lists from admitted patients primarily through in person patient interviews in the Emergency Room (ER) and inpatient rooms, insurance claims and pharmacy phone calls.
+ Accurately electronically transcribe home medication lists into the electronic health record.
+ Escalate identified patient medication list concerns to pharmacist when needed.
+ Answer inquiries not requiring a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
+ Assist in the training of pharmacy technicians, students, and interns.
+ Participate in monthly outdate and unit inspection program.
+ Perform related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant OR equivalent education/experience
LEGAL REQUIREMENT
State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$57,120.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$89,388.00 annual
Other Compensation:
$4,000 Sign-On Bonus
Night Shift Premium - $2.75/hour; Evening Shift Premium - $2.00/hour; Weekend Shift Premium - $2.50/hour
