**Harborview Medical Center – CLINICAL ENGINEERING** has an outstanding opportunity for full-time (100% FTE, 40 hours a week), day shift, **Biomedical Electronics Technician 1** .

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 receives on-the-job training while performing entry-level biomedical equipment support functions, including troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, calibrating, and testing a variety of biomedical instruments, apparatus, systems, and equipment
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Perform entry-level Biomedical Electronics work, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, constructing and testing analog and/or digital electronic equipment or apparatus used in the patient care, and clinical areas of a healthcare facility.
+ Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
+ Respond promptly to customer needs
+ Meet productivity standards set by the department
+ Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary.
+ Exhibit ability to learn and apply new skills
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
+ An Associate's Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field
+ equivalent education/experience may be considered
