Stanford’s Online High School is an accredited, diploma-offering, highly selective independent high school, offering courses for grades 7-12. The mission ofStanford Online High School (OHS) is to foster a worldwide community of intellectually adventurous students and teachers.
Stanford Online High School is also the home ofStanford Pre-Collegiate Studies (SPCS), which provides a diverse array of academic enrichment programs that take place mostly in the summer but also throughout the academic year. Held both online and on-campus, SPCS programs serve intellectually curious pre-college students from around the world.
The position is located atStanford’s Redwood City Campusand will require an on-campus presence. Though the position is eligible for a Hybrid Work Arrangement, upon mutual agreement, it requires onsite work a minimum of two days per week.
The **Associate Director of SPCS Admissions and Enrollment** administers Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies admission and enrollment policies and procedures for five pre-college programs including: Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes, Stanford AI4ALL, Stanford University Mathematics Camp, Stanford Summer Humanities Institute, and Stanford Math Circles.
Your responsibilities include:
+ Develop and implement best practice admissions strategies, timelines and processes for the successful recruitment of academically motivated students, bearing primary responsibility for enrollment targets and goals.
+ Analyze admissions and enrollment operations, making recommendations for strategic planning to meet enrollment targets to the Director of Stanford Pre-collegiate Studies.
+ Implement new processes to meet unit needs in SPCS Slate instance. Continuously drive the development and improvement of Slate, managing Slate to support the full lifecycle of SPCS admissions
+ Oversee Admissions Committees: Read, evaluate, recommend and issue decisions for pre-collegiate applicants based on current unit priorities, applicable laws, and program prerequisites.
+ Manage Financial Aid, issuing awards and collaborating with the Director of SPCS and Finance Manager on Financial Aid budget.
+ Oversee enrollment management, registration and financial aid with support from Academic Records and Academic Operations personnel to meet Stanford Math Circle enrollment goals.
+ Collaborate with Marketing to develop marketing strategies that meet enrollment goals; represent SPCS programs in recruitment events in virtual local, national and international communities, conduct informational sessions and respond to questions regarding admissions and student experience for SPCS programs.
+ Conduct quantitative analyses of admission data, present findings; make recommendations and develop goals based on findings that increase efficiency of the admissions process.
+ Serve as an information resource, as well train and supervise others to do so, to prospective applicants, secondary school or university personnel, professional organizations, students, parents and alumni, answering inquiries through Salesforce; represent SPCS at activities and events, meetings, committees and conferences.
+ Cultivate and maintain relationships with secondary school personnel, outreach partner organizations, professional organizations, students, parents and alumni.
+ Responsible for hiring, training and supervising part-time admissions counselor, seasonal readers and customer service roles.

*Though a local, hybrid work arrangement is strongly preferred, remote candidates will be considered. Therefore, this role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States.
Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.
The expected pay range for this position is $108,263 - $128,540 per annum for the Stanford Work Location, and $76,876 - $113,509 per annum for Remote (all other regions).

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
