    **Sodexo’s Campus Segment** is seeking an experienced and dynamic **Food Operations Manager 3** for **SUNY Plattsburgh** in **Plattsburgh, NY.** This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused university dining environment.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in **retail food operations** , **team development** , and **client relations** , along with proven success in achieving operational and financial goals.

    What You'll Do

    + Oversee daily food and retail operations to ensure excellence in quality, service, and presentation.

    + Train, develop, and lead a large management and hourly team (union environment experience a plus).

    + Manage purchasing, food and labor costs, and budget performance to meet or exceed financial targets.

    + Uphold Sodexo’s food and physical safety programs and compliance standards.

    + Foster strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and partnership.

    + Champion service excellence, promoting a positive and engaging customer experience across all dining locations.

    + Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that align with both client and company goals.

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degreeor equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
