    Description

    SAIC is seeking a skilled and experienced **Software Systems Engineer Principal** to join our esteemed team at the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC), Studies and Analytics Division. This pivotal role supports the national NC3 infrastructure with a focus on Oracle database systems and cloud-based application integration. This position is located at **Offutt AFB, NE.**

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    DESIGN AND INNOVATE:

    + Design, program, and implement advanced Oracle database systems tailored for cloud applications

    + Design, deploy, and configure Oracle database systems in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment

    AGILE TEAMWORK:

    + Excel within an integrated software team environment, adhering to an Agile Framework to deliver top-notch solutions

    DEVSECOPS EXCELLENCE:

    + Navigate through cutting-edge DevSecOps pipelines and processes for effective delivery of database systems into diverse cloud environments

    SECURE DEPLOYMENTS:

    + Manage the deployment of database systems across various secure enclaves, maintaining the utmost data security and integrity

    AI INTEGRATION:

    + Integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities with the database infrastructure to enhance functionality and efficiency

    Qualifications

    REDUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelor's degree and nine (9) or more years' experience; Master's degree and seven (7) or more years' experience; PhD or JD and four (4) or more years' experience. Candidates with thirteen (13) or more years' of directly applicable experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

    REQUIRED CLEARANCE** **:

    + Active TS/SCI clearance to start; Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly security clearance within 90 days to maintain employment

    + US citizenship

    PROFICIENCY:

    + Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and software development

    + Experience with Oracle development, and server administration including proficiency in PL/SQL, stored functions and procedures, packages, jobs, and triggers a plus
