Job description
Based in the Headquarters of Safran USA (Irving, Texas) within Safran Human Resources Support (SHRS) entity, the VIE International Mobility will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing VIEs, international interns, apprentices to/from USA, and will work with and coordinate third party providers to ensure a high level of customer service and compliance. Serves as HR contact and advocate for successful integration and offboarding of the interns to their locations.
The VIE International Mobility will be working directly with the SHRS International Mobility Specialists team, Safran Global mobility team and the Safran Campus team to contribute actively to boost, promote the programs and support the HRs for reaching the Safran stakes defined.
The VIE will also make continuous improvement recommendations and lead projects in order to improve the processes and the knowledge management of SHRS activity, including possibly a support of the team on expatriates area.
Candidate skills & requirements
• Contribute to act as liaison and relay the Safran policies and stakes into the US
• Manage the end-to-end assignments workflow and ensure all necessary actions related including review documents and support all the stakeholders in the immigration and arrival process: candidate, manager, sending company HR focal point, local HRs and local managers
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements on immigration issues for candidates beginning with the assessment through the visa delivery and to port of entry
• Act as liaison with all affiliate HR Representatives and participate to animate the HR network in order to advise, sensitize, upskill and share the best practices
• Propose and implement solutions for improving the global mobility experience (Microsoft survey and analysis, update of the guides, etc.)
• Contribute to the knowledge management of the activities (creation and/or update of procedures, job aids, etc.)
• Participate in ongoing projects within SHRS
Education and experience:
• Bachelor's degree in HR
• One HR experience at least is required
• Any experience in global mobility would be a plus
Required Skills/Knowledge:
• Fluent in English and French
• Good communication skills
• Sense of confidentiality
• Well organized with strong attention to detail
• High sense of service / support / customer oriented
• Strong solving problems skills with a continuous improvement mindset
• Basics Excel skills (Pivot table & vlookup) - Power BI knowledge would be a plus
